Avoiding quarantine

Quick question guys, we have cheap flights from Sri Lanka to Washington Dulles international airport but the problem is that the transit will be from Uk. Will I have to quarantine as I will be coming through UK? How do I find any information on that?

You will not be able to come through the UK unless you are the spouse of a USC or LPR or parent of a minor USC. USCs and LPRs are also to come here from the UK.

People who have been in the UK at any time during the 14 days prior to their arrival here are banned unless they are a USC or LPR, the spouse of a USC or LPR, a minor child of a USC or the parent of a minor USC.

As a spouse of a USC you are fine. Even transit is not possible for those who don’t qualify.
