Hi all

So im thinking ahead and we will need my fiance's parents to be co-sponsors for me to move to usa on the K1 seeing as how she is still in school and not able to meet the income requirements, her parents will have no problems meeting the income levels.

Can anyone tell me exactly what we need to get done? I read that things like previous tax records and employers letters are required...are these required from both my fiancee and her parents. or just from my fiancee?

Also, do her parents need to fill out a whole new I-134 or is there some other form for them as co-sponsors?

This is kinda confusing me!

ddkm,

Whoever will be your sponsor will fill out an I-134 and provide the appropriate supporting documents, plus additional financial documents as suggested by form DS-2000 (formerly OF-167).

So both my USC fiancee and her father will need I134 forms, as well as the documents that need to accompany them, such as employers letters, tax forms etc?

ddkm,

Your fiancee may not need to provide a financial sponsorship package if she will not be your sponsor. Other UK K-visa applicants have experienced this. But I cannot tell you for sure what your case officer is going to require of you, so it would be prudent to have your fiancee's financial information available in the event that it is asked for after you have submitted her father's financial information.
