Timeline

Can anyone tell me how long it takes for the green card interview ? My status says waiting to schedule for interview for 6 months now !! I am out of New Orleans . Yes I read the same thing 9 months to 36 months !!!!! Received my letter In February ... If any one knows are had their interview let me know time !!!

That's pre covid. Nothing happened during the last 3 months at least to somebody here on VJ.

From the quarterly reports above, I extracted I-485 (total) data for New Orleans. I guess the next quarter's numbers will be dramatically different. By the way, my wife is behind you @letspaintcookies by about a month and a half.

For 5 of those 6 months no interviews occurred  and now they are operating at reduced capacity as well as the current priority is citizenship interviews

I don't usually post about politics but there are many articles about past presidents sitting for weeks at a time signing naturalization papers so people would go to the poles and vote for them

and right now,  elections are the priority
