K1 Interview Ghana

Greetings everyone, our fiance visa application was approved in June. My beneficiary still hasnt received his letter in Ghana yet. Does anyone know how they are dealing with the K1 fiance visa process in Ghana? Will we have to wait months for interview/approval?

NVC has not been sending k1 petitions to embassies. Embassies have been closed for processing visas and I’m not sure if Ghana is even open for processing (other) visas to be honest. It is very much possible you may be waiting months for a an interview.

Thanks for your quick reply Luckycuds, I wish they would just say they arent sending any cases from the NVC, in the first place. I know and understand that we need to be patient, but I want make sure we dont miss his letter. I was hoping we would know which month to look out for it. But I know everything will be ok(taking deep breaths, drinking wine, watching Netflicks). thanks again.

Agreed! It would prevent people from calling all the time and ease people’s mind a bit. Yes you are correct- take deep breaths, relax, know the process will eventually come to an end and find some good Netflix shows!
