Democrats Go Postal with Busted Mailbox Conspiracy Theory

Democrats have spent several days flogging the false “mailbox conspiracy” theory that President Donald Trump is deliberately crippling the U.S. Postal Service so that it cannot handle votes by mail in November — even forcing it to remove mailboxes.

The truth is that the mailboxes were removed because mailboxes are always being removed. About 14,000 were removed during the Obama-Biden administration. Democrats are creating a new hysteria to cast Trump as a tyrant and motivate their conspiracy-theory-addled voters.

Former Vice President Joe Biden has enthusiastically inflamed this phony conspiracy theory — far more directly than Trump can be said to have “promoted” or “encouraged” the Kamala Harris “Birther” theory (which he declined to pursue).

Loving this one, these beautiful dog whistles setting up their own malcontent should they lose.

Going back through the financial reports from USPS for 10 years, I am counting almost $70 billion in losses.  Would a business with this magnitude of losses really survive?  People also need to realize that the President does not control USPS as it is an Independent Agency within the US government, but can you imagine if the USPS board of governors suggested making actual cuts to make it more fiscally healthy what the reaction from congress would be?

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Attorney General William Barr suffered what was described as a “severe back strain” while trying to lift a mailbox into a pickup truck on Saturday.

According to Barr, he tried to give the mailbox “one good yank” to heave it into the truck, when he heard “something go pop” in his back.

“I remember thinking, Hoo, boy, that’s not good,” Barr said.

At the White House, Donald J. Trump said that the injury to Barr was “disgraceful” and yet another argument against mail-in voting.

Is the New Yorker turning into a parody site?
