hi all,

maybe a dumb question. But I see if I send via USPS, its a different address than where I would send the petition to if I sent it via UPS. Does it make a difference?

USPS near my house usually has 45 minute wait times. So would prefer to send via UPS. But on VJ instructions, it says send via USPS.

It is your decision if you send it via USPS or UPS. Whichever you chose you must use the address that correlates to it. Follow the official USCIS guidelines not the VJ guidelines as things may be updated on this website.

Nah not a dumb question, imo. They're all different entities, so it's worth asking about. Ultimately it's up to you. I had a bad experience with USPS with our AoS package back in 2017. The tracking showed that it got to Chicago and then stopped. I freaked out for a couple days. However, USCIS cashed our check so that's how I knew our package had been delivered. The tracking itself never updated to "delivered" so the experience left me very distrustful of USPS. So we only use UPS now. No issues, tracking always shows every step of the way to delivery.
