How long can I wait before filiing the AOS?

You can wait as long as you want, even until after your wife's K3 status expires if you wish.

There may be consequences from waiting, depending on what events might occur while you are doing so, but you can wait forever.

I've had my wife here a month already (K-3). Finances are tight and I haven't yet filed the AOS. I also realize that fees will be going up end of July and I'm thinking of filing shortly before then. Is it OK to wait this long before filing? Thanks!
