Peggy....I use 10-10-811, its a dial around service. I dial the 10-10 thing + 1 and the number...area code too. It's 39cents to connect, then 3cents a minute to talk to my sweetness. :luv:

Let's see if this works this time. How do you prefer to chat up your sweetie?

Webcam/ mic for sure is the best! That's how we met and that's how we've continued most of our communication. Of coarse..emails..love letters via snail mail...and many 30 second phone calls during the day sustain us till the days we can be together.

We communicated on the internet, but we also used to call each other every other day too. We preferred the phone, but used the internet a lot too because it's cheaper and that's how we met in the first place so we were used to it.

Btw, 6th Nephilim, you have an interesting sig :) It's been a long time since I saw anything written in hebrew...

I love the phone but there s nothing harder than finishing the conversation... feeling very lonely after.

My husband and I used to send little packages to each other...

Little letter...

It was so nice to get a little little.

Also internet.. we sent each other a lot of e mails..

As i didn t have internet home... i used to go to those internet cafe.

My fiance is lucky and has a phone plan where he can call unlimited to North America (from France) Monday - Friday 6pm - 8am his time and weekends for $70-something per month. Which is good considering we can easily spend 10 hours on the phone in a 24 hour period if we can. We fall asleep on the phone together a lot, we like falling alseep without having to say goodbye and waking up to each other's voices. That phone company totally lost money on us. And we've worked up a lot of great evidence for his interview!

Webcam is good sometimes too, though, so I can see him in living action. We need that sometimes.

text messege since neither of us can afford huge phone bills, and calling cards are not always that good with reception with him being stuck at the meantime in a romanian villiage, and texting for us is only 5cents per msg, and we get alot said.

We use internet when he can get to it, when hes in his city, we talk daily online, but there are those rare occations where texting is the thing, oh and once in awhile his grandmother would let him use her phone to make surprise calls to me. :)

I voted for telephone but thank heavens for the webcam... Don't know how we would've survived without it all this time... Just being able to see my sweetie's face every night makes me smile... :)

number one with no doubt: instant messenger.

met in one messenger ... at work (and wasn't for chitchat, was digging information about a product and run to his name and handle that way) ... started chatting ...

was even hoping it would have been possible to get married in chat since had problems getting 3 days off from work for getting married.

so every day, with the sucky 6 hours time zone difference, all the hours we are awake, seem to be spent chatting ...

I like to spend time with him on yim or msn always with both our webcams on. We don't talk much on the phone cuz we're saving money as much as we can, internet is way cheaper and we have access 24/7.
