I use the phone, mainly, and then instant message while I'm work. She download Skype last night, and wow. I'm liking Skype. It's free, and the sound quality is even better than the phone. The only downside is that we can't go lay down while using it. I'll have to see how it works over my wireless connection. It'd be great to be able to take the laptop to bed and chat through that.

Joel and I chat every day via computer...use the webcam sometimes...phone occasionally. I have an international plan on my cell....19cents a minute to call Canada, or 3cents from my landline. Can't wait til we don't NEED any of these to communicate :luv:

I LOVE hearing my babys voice every day, but when I see him on the cam (L)(L)(L)(L) my heart darn near stops. :luv:

Oh yeah! Mine does the same thing! :luv:(L):luv:

We always talked online. Would use web cams to see each other. I would stick it out the window to show him the big snows storms we had. Him being from the South never really seen that much snow. So his kids loved for me to show them that. Then we would talk on the phone. We talked way to much on the phone. I have the paid bills to remind me

Karen who do you use for long distance. We pay 5 cents a minute with IDT.

Now were in the same house, so its great

I'm such a visual person that it's a real handicap talking on the phone. I had an ex-boyfriend who used to get really upset because I always wanted to IM instead of talking on the phone, but I find it very hard to pay attention to things I can't see. (So IM conversations are very easy for me to focus on, but the telephone is nearly impossible.)

My favorite method of communication is still in person talking. It wasn't an option, kind of strange, considering it is one of the oldest methods.

I prefer the telephone because it's more personal and immediate than e-mail...but when I have to explain something important to him (like immigration matters) I send him an e-mail and use Korean because I can write it a lot better than I speak it....and I want to make sure he understands.
