My wife filed for her roc from her conditional green card in mid 2018.  We got an rfe several months ago and already sent that in. This process is taking a long time. What is the current wait time for a roc on green cards?

the statutory timeline for uscis process is 180 days from the day of filing application but USCIS makes up its own processing time and paste them on their website.

And who knows how much longer it'll take in case the furloughs are happening on August 30. 🤷‍♀️ 😑

There are many people still waiting from 2018 unfortunately, so you're "in good company". I don't know which your service center is, but if it's NBC then it's possible that you'll have an interview, and the long wait could be because you have a very slow field office (and as well know they have also been closed for months this year).

If your case is outside normal processing time you can contact your congress person to have them contact USCIS on your behalf. Maybe they could find some answers you haven't got yet.

You may want to join/follow this group as they filed the same time as you

Also, can you please complete your VJ timeline? You can click on your user name and then add/edit timeline; it helps the stats on the site as well as prevents you from having to answer the same questions regarding where you are in the process and helps you get more accurate responses 🙂

The processing center employees and paperwork is in mesquite, Texas.  I do know that the mesquite processing center moved operations recently to a different part of the Dallas area.

There are people at the Seattle office waiting since 2017. They even became eligible for citizenship in 2018 and are still waiting for that too. Nothing in this process is fast or cheap.

My wife just got notification that the case was moved to a different office. Dont know if that is good or bad as far as getting a decision soon.
