Still coming off of my migraine and I don't have it in me. It's also way too hot right now to deal with just about anything.

Hope you are feeling better now.  My wife suffered terribly with migraines and it got so bad they were occurring almost weekly.  Thanks to a great doctor at the Miami Headache Institute she now has her life back.  Stem cell therapy was what did it for her.

Thank you so much. :) I have gone from having them once every three to six months to having them once a week. My therapist, who has a specialization in neuropsychology, urged me to stop shoving it under the rug and get myself to a neurologist who specializes in migraines. My mom also leaned on me to do something about it. I have an appointment next month -- the neurologist who was recommended to me is on vacation for the rest of the month. My therapist thinks the frequency and intensity is likely linked to my anxiety disorder working overtime during the pandemic. In the meantime, relaxation, yoga, meditation and NO RED WINE for a while. I will ask about the stem cell therapy, thank you so much. Glad to hear your wife is doing well -- it gives me hope!

Correct.

First and most important, and often most difficult, is to determine the cause of the migraine.  Years ago my wife went to a neurologist locally and after some tests the neurologist told us "it's typical migraine and I guess you will just have to deal with it".  That "diagnosis" was depressing and kept us from pursuing further help for many years.  Finally we had to do something and found a much better doctor out of our area.  He spent a lot of time with us to determine the cause, and as you know there can be many things that trigger migraines.  My wife's problems were neuro-muscular.  She has spinal stenosis C5, C6, C7, as well as some muscle problems in her upper back with trigger points.  Our doctor was not in favor of surgery but recommended the stem cell procedure.  She was numbed, they took blood and fat which is processed while you wait, and then injected into her neck and back of the head.  Even with the numbing it was very painful.  Later they treated the trigger points in her back muscles with PRP,  platelet rich plasma.  As the platelets break down they are supposed to stimulate healing.  Not sure how effective the PRP was, but after several months she is so much better.  The procedures were done a year and a half ago and it took almost 6 months for maximum relief.  Now I can't remember the last time she had a migraine.  On occasion she still gets some headaches that she can deal with, but I'm sure you know the difference between a run of the mill headache and a migraine.

Bubbly is still okay though, so there is hope in the world. 🕯️ 🙏

Is your friend still moving down from the bay? John and Chrissy are having a new child and need to move because 8,500 square feet is too small. 23.95 million,  but that due date is looming and they might be motivated by a cash buyer.

Yeah, she's looking for 1500 sq ft and a double garage, so I think 8500 sq ft will do. But do they have a double garage?????

We're having a socially distanced drink this evening while she's still in town and I will check.

I think I've only had one migraine in my life at 17, not sure if it was one. Was on a trip to England. Every time I go somewhere new I get sick after about a week or so as my body gets accustomed to their germs. Was at a pub with fam with something starting to bug my stomach, felt a headache slowly come on, not going away. Told them I feel like throwing up and am getting sick, so we start walking back to the house boat. Shortly after leaving the pub about 15 mins or so later, we're walking, and the pain in my head gets so strong as we start crossing a street I nearly black out and find myself immediately on my knees in the middle of the road and face in the rocky asphalt trying not to throw up. People were like ####### is going on. Had to stay right there for a few minutes before it subsided and maintained a dull headache and flu type symptoms over the next few days. Was a weird trip overall. On the way back home apparently had an ear infection, even with gum and trying whatever I could, ears wouldn't pop, descend in CA, still won't pop, during descent ears suddenly feel pressure and a surge of pain like they're gonna explode, feel a very painful pop, ringing.. couldn't hear anyone speaking with any clarity for some three-odd weeks before it returned to normal. Not sure it was deafness, couldn't hear/make out what people would say to me, but could make out the sounds (i.e. tone) of very deep voices, and when running around doing any activity would hear my own heart beat, which was really trippy.

I have no idea what to call the second thing that happened, but if the first wasn't a migraine, I doubt I've ever had one.
