My fiance received her k1 visa a few weeks ago. I got her a ticket from casablanca to jfk. She received authorization to fly from the police in morocco and she was set. She went to the airport and everything went smooth. She was sitting in the plane and the captain told her to unboard. She asked why and the told her they received an email from american authorities saying you cant enter the USA. When she asked why, they said it’s confidential. What should we do? The consulate said she can travel. I am very concerned.

this one is beyond help we can give

she may have a similar name as someone that is barred (but that is only a guess)

it is strange the captain said she had to leave the plane and not the stewardess

and an email??? when they talk to airport by earphones

How would American authorities know she was on the plane? it would be more normal for the embassy to call her cell and tell her to bring the passport back in and then stamp it cancelled/has happened to one VJ member's husband

and what authorities?

you need to email the embassy and ask as they will have the information

I concur about needing to contact the embassy/consulate to get details. There's no way anybody here can know why.

My guess is that the airline staff checked everything at check-in and it was fine. But during a later check, something came up incorrect or CBP/RCLG retracted the authorization to board.

Typically CBP wants 72 hours to verify passenger information prior to boarding. So it's also possible the ticket was purchased in less time, and they didn't get an OK back yet?

The captain getting an email doesn't sound right to me either. Unless possibly it was an email from within the airline.

Maybe it is about stopping citizens and lpr from entering the USA. That proclamation that Trump is trying to sign.

Stopping citizens and LPRs from entering the US...? What EO is this???

Not to mention, he clearly cannot prevent the entry of citizens. His authority to deny anybody is based on INA 212(f) which only applies to aliens. He almost certainly cannot do so for LPRs either.

This will sound very harsh but it has happened to VJ members in the past

she could have used the visa and boarded the plane and came to someone else (family or friend)

i say that and hope i am wrong for that part but it has happened to others on here

and to say the captain told her to get off and no reason why?

captains do not make contact with passengers /  not sense 9/11 when they enter the plane and close the proctective door between them and  the passengers/  the flight crew speaks to passengers and handles situations (all kinds of things even removing those who get mouthy)

this doesn't make sense

for your sake i hope what i post is wrong and you can work with embassy to straighten any issues out

Did you speak to her? Is she still in Morocco? This is weird. Dude send a member of your family to visit her in person. Something is up, Sorry to say that but it has happened.

Thank you for your concern. Yes I spoke to her. She’s with her family. She is devastated and so am I. We are trying to figure out why this happened.
