Finally some action out of the USEM on our K1 visa.  They have requested she take a new physical at St, Luke's Extension Hospital.  Need to know is St. Luke's open.  Maybe just maybe things are starting to move.  Praise the Lord.

Check there website.   They opened but then closed again after Manila went back to MECQ.   Not sure if they have re-opened

YMMV

Yes I know, I believe they are making another decision on moving from MECQ on the 18th of this month.  I will check other sites.

Have you posed your question in the PI sub-forum her on VJ? Checked the website for SLEC. Called SLEC to inquiry about their hours?

The sub-forum for Philippines here on VJ is where you should be a part of the conversation. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will better prepare you for your interview.

Do you have to pay again?

Yes you have to pay.   St Luke's is where our visa got off track to start with.  She got caught up in the sputum testing even though she was told at the time of the physical she was negative.  Did the 3 days of testing and 8 weeks of waiting for the culture results to once again be told it was negative.  Had it not been for St. Luke's we would have avoided the virus melt down at the Embassy and she would be here with me.  Don't get me wrong, yes I am bitter towards the process but ever so thankful that the Embassy finally has taken some action.  We just want to get this behind us and move on with our lives TOGETHER.

Considering Manila just extended MECQ until end of the month, I am sure St Lukes is closed as well

It appears Manila is going from mecq to mgcq. There is a difference and whether st Luke’s opens during that period is another question but mgcq is a loosening of restrictions.

I will add that’s what appears to be happening but we all know things can change at the last minute. I know the restrictions can’t last much longer. The country is on life support with its economy.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

Can you add few details please?
Why your case is being looked at? What the reason?  Embassy does NOT processing K1 visas.

You will never be able to out guess the USEM.  I have always felt that our visa was withdrawn after being issued   because of the virus, and not because there was any problem with the paperwork.  We are trying to figure out what is going on as well.  The decision is, do we pay the $600.00 needed for the 2nd physical and what will be the return if you can not travel on a K1 visa.

Even the President has finally realized this country has killed itself and it's economy with massive lockdowns and shutting businesses down.

I agree these restrictions can't last much longer.

St. Lukes is closed for any scheduled or unscheduled medical exams until August 18th.

You can use the like below to go straight to SLEC web site for current information and email links.

It appear Manila is going back to GCQ until August 31st, meaning St Lukes should open starting the 19th of August.  So, if you need to book an appointment as soon as the system allows you, I would do it and get it done before August 31st.  The web-site still doesnt allow you to book, but last time Manila was on GCQ St Lukes was open.  Maybe by end of today you can.
