Hello everyone, I hope I put this post in a right forum.

My spouse is a contractor for DoD. Recently we were informed that he will be sent to Korea in about 3 weeks and I will go with him. This will be our first time to go to overseas under DoD.

The company asked my spouse to send copy of my passport and green card 1 day after I sent my I-751 application to remove my conditional status.(I am not sure what the company will do with my documents)

I have received my I-797 notified that my I-751 is in progress and that my green card is extended for 18 months and I have received I-797C  a notification saying that I do not need to do another biometric

I read from  "A Guide for Naturalization" https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/chapter4.pdf page 20 it says

"If you are at least 18 years old and: Are the spouse of a U.S. citizen who is one of the following: An employee or an individual under contract to the U.S. Government; and You will be proceeding to join your spouse whose work abroad under orders of the qualifying employer will continue for at least 1 year after the date you will be naturalized. Form N-400 should be filed prior to departing."

My questions are:

1) Am I eligible to apply for N-400 naturalization, since I already applied for I-751 to remove  my conditional status and it's being processed by USCIS?

2) Can I apply when I am in Korea since I will be to busy for the moving? What will happened with my status if I don't apply before I move?

For information, I will be eligible for naturalization June 2021

Thank you in advance for any respond.
