Also some good news! Some K1 Twitter fam are arranging a class action lawsuit with some top notch lawyer. Its will be filed this monday. Im very happy!

I post this link again, they have info there, also wouldn't hurt to sign (despite some people saying Change Org petitions dont work)

https://www.change.org/p/president-of-the-united-states-open-the-embassies-for-k1-applicants?utm_content=cl_sharecopy_22934891_en-US%3A5&recruiter=1140318062&recruited_by_id=260d9830-dbff-11ea-ab14-9332a5af10c2&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=psf_combo_share_initial&utm_term=psf_combo_share_initial

Covid killed the USCIS budget. I feel everyone's pain. I would be losing my mind if we were still waiting for the visa or AOS. I would be writing and calling everyone. K1 just isn't important to the powers that be. Eventually it will probably phased out. I wish you all the best of luck.

Finally done...

I hope you make a whole lot of money because I make a considerable amount and I struggle to prove my Fiancée will not be a public charge

No I don't. I only make like $15,000 above the 125% mark currently. I'm in my last year of school.

I was afraid to say this but i do think the plan is to phase it out thus hurting a lot of people who can't take tons of time off work to marry in a foreign country (Morocco took us almost 2 months of traveling to 4 different cities and doing all the documents)

But if i was to do it now,  i would definitely go CR1 as the new AOS fees are really going to hurt the pocketbook

I really hope you are joking. You do realize he practically doubled the cost of the Adjustment of Status right?

Not yet, however if it keeps the USCIS moving and operating with out additional requests for Gov. handouts and Furloughs it's good. It is basically run as a business and if the business does not make enough to keep the number of employees then we will be waiting even longer for services or have them cut completely.

And is this statement supposed to imply that this was one man's decision alone with no factors to substantiate it? "Just because he wants to make people suffer maliciously"?
