Dv lottery 2022

Hello , I hope everyone is doing good , i have some question about the DV Lottery 2022 , as many of you know that the winners of DV Lottery 2020 winners they have been in pause t get their interview + visa because the coronavirus , and after that trump deicided to close the embassy and the visa proccess of the winners , and after that , in the last june the dv lottery 2021 results has been delivered and shown in the website , and till now everything is in hold without any clear informations about how the us gonna treat the winners of the last year and this year ! ? what comes in my mind and the question that i'm looking to know , is; is there in the next october inscreaptins for the dv lottery 2020 ?

We all waiting....those that paid no money and won a virtual lottery and those that paid hard earned money and are actually separated from their families.....Its unlikely their will be another lottery as it is tell 2022 is cleared

It’s not unclear. DV selectees currently outside the US are subject to a ban on visa issuance until (at least) January 2021, along with a number of other immigrant visa categories. There are currently a few lawsuits that have been combined and brought before Judge Mehta, it’s possible there will be a temporary restraining order on the ban but that won’t be known till month end, so not sure if by “unclear” you mean you don’t know what the court case outcome will be. Government position is clear.

 

I don’t understand your last sentence exactly, but DV2020 visas cannot be issued after 30 September. The exact entry dates for DV2022 will probably be announced sometime in September.

Where do you get that conclusion? The DV lottery is established in law.

What’s your point? There is a difference between a temporary ban and saying they are just going to not do something entirely. DV2022 will fall entirely outside the scope of the current ban anyway.

actually he was asking about what came to his mind and the questions it produced but I’m sure he/she appreciates you sharing what is in your mind,

hopefully he/she also appreciates that there are certain things established in law and understands that the lottery will indeed be held as usual, as it has been every year because it’s law despite every year someone always saying trump will cancel it.
