I called the CSC today to check on the status of my application. It has been 4.5 months since I filed and I wanted to know what was going on.

The guy on the phone assured me that if I sent an inquiry regarding my case, that it would not affect the wait time or "take my place out of line". Has anyone here ever done this? How long does it take to get a response? He told me it could take up to 30 days to get a response which would put us at 5.5 months which is a very unusual wait time.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :crying: I was not concerned that much until Jordan adopted a new plan for dealing with interviews and now people are getting them 5-6 months out.

:help::ranting::cry::wacko: I am losing my mind!

I can't help you with your question, just wanted to say :

Welcome to the boat !

:secret: Which boat you ask ? The boat where our minds have been lost. My mind was lost a looongg time ago. I swear I do not feel like the same person I was two years ago. Even the girls at work said to me, "Massouna, you seem so dazed all the time?" My response "You try going through all of these immigration rollercoasters, working full time, and going to school full time while still maintaining an excellent relationship with all family members, especially the person I am fighting for, Ali".

It is hard and hopefully one day we get our minds back ... till then we won't judge you for acting coo coo.

JP, you can watch your application being processed online if you are waiting for one of your petitions to be approved. Otherwise, if it's at the visa center, calling them is the only answer.

There is no more 5-6 month wait in Jordan now, it's a 9 month or more wait. Maybe we should just pack up and move there until they can come here.

I have been watching it online and its not moving which is why I called them.

Besides, I have been in the is boat for a long time anyway! 9 month wait doesn't sound encouraging either.

Good luck watching for movement online. Our K-1 never showed anything before we had our interview scheduled. Then suddenly it shows that our NOA2 has been mailed  We got that e-mail after Casa had the case and had the interview scheduled.

Now I have an RFE that still hasn't shown up on the website. I really don't think they update it very much.
