NVC Fee Payment ‘In Process’

Hi all,

I paid the two NVC fees on August 2nd. The transactions are posted on my bank account since the 4th, but the payment status is still ‘In Process’. I submitted an online inquiry form and got a response 4 days ago saying it was under review. NVC said this can take up to 6 weeks?

Did anyone else have this problem?
It’s very frustrating how it went from 2-3 business days to 6 weeks.

(This might have nothing to do with it, but I paid the fees through my parents account. Does it matter that the payment was not made from my account?)

Thank you for your responses

YES I am in the same EXACT situation paid the fees July 31 came out Aug 4 and nothing NOTHING !!!!!!Still says in PROCESS.......I did not think the wait for fees to be cleared was that long . But Rapid Visa said 5 to 7 business day from the day the fee came out of the account . 6 WEEKS THAT IS TOTALLY CRAZY !!! It feels like they just wanted the money and will process the papers later when they have time !!!!!

I send an email to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov again and this time I attached a screen shot showing both fees coming out of my bank account. Hope this will fix the issue.
All the best
