DOS returned petition to USCIS. USCIS received it last September 2019. As of March of 2020 USCIS says it's under extended review. Can anybody tell me something about this? Just a idea of when I will hear from USCIS.  It's a CR-1 and my wife is in China. USCIS excepted my petition 12/06/2017. My wife's interview was 03/05/2019. DOS did not believe we was a bonafide marriage.

What exactly did DOS/embassy or Consulate say about the reasons for refusal? Lack of evidence of bona fide? What info had you sent to USCIS for your I130 petition?

Why did they not believe it was a bona fide marriage?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

That is usually indicative of a petition that was not front loaded, a poor interview or not spending enough time together or comingling of assets by interview time.  If DOS denied it outright then you should have been assembling proof.  It has been over a year!

Your profile also stated that you applied for a K1.  I'm sure you meant a CR-1.  And you posted in DCF.  Did you file directly with USCIS in China or stateside?  It sounds like you might not have a good grasp of the process.
