If K1 visa is approved?

Hey guys this is regarding chennai consulate ,

If the K1 visa is approved do they hand over the passport with visa stamped same day or atleast the following day?

i think there is a provision taht we can collect it the same day or the following day at the chennai VFS office .

YES, it is possible to pick up the passport with visa stamp, one or two days after the interview (sometimes even the same day). It is given at the Chennai VFS office (NOT the Consulate). In fact the Consulate officer told my husband he could pick up the visa the next business day, at the VFS office. However, his interview was on Friday and train ticket on Saturday, so he got it by courier. You are lucky because your interview is on Monday, so it will be ready at VFS for pickup on Tuesday or Wednesday. Hope you can do that!
