I know the picture is at the capitol now. But at the time I didn't and it was just a picture of him. I am the first to admit that there was some unsavory characters there the other day, and I have never denied that. But you all keep acting lime actions of a few mean it was the whole group.

I saw one flag that had the circle cross on it. That was it. Which tells me someone put it up, got a photo, and then either took it down or got it ripped down

I gave you links to Mr Camp Auschwitz, a noose, anti semetic harraging... at least some of the rioters were racist, anti-semitic scum.

A few bad eggs? Just bad luck I guess that they were the ones who made it into the Capitol building.

I have heard an interview from journalists who were on the ground they said that only a actual broke in. The rest of the people just kinda walked in bewildered that they were able to go into the capitol

Just saw one of the most gruesome videos from this... cannot share it here. Nearly made it through watching and began sobbing... the mob is crushing a young officer screaming in agony between a heavy door as he is trying with all his bravery to hold them back, and they are basically torturing him.

 

I don't know who he is, and I hope he is okay... he deserves a medal for bravery.

Unfortunately this happens many times in mobs and it really sucks. Its like a slow moving crushing apocalypse. They had a situation like this happen in Mecca a few years back and it killed hundreds

 

The same journalist from above was talking about he was in the same situation stuck between trump supporters and the police being squeezed by both

ive read a bit more and it looks like the guys who were charged were the ones doing the really bad stuff, some of the others were more or less goofing around, not necessarily harmless, but not exactly the foaming at the mouth types either. some of those guys got doxxed and are having repercussions of the non legal kind, like some lady whose kids disowned her, that kind of stuff.

i do hope they find and prosecute the ones who were threatening violence and wanted to kill pence, but the others, well, it seems like some of their lives were jacked up, and thats enough punishment for them

 

this should never have happened, and i think one of the repercussions of this will be a LOT more security and background checks of the security for the complex, which is appropriate.

 

i found it humorous that some of the qanon people started turning on their own and calling that viking guy antifa, when he is as hardcore qanon as they come...and some of these people have turned on trump... silver linings i guess.

Seriously, the level minded know very well the majority of protesters who came to Washington that day, came with good intent, 100,000+ people came  to express their voice, anger and frustration over the fraud that took place in the election, The bad intent came from a minority group of bad actors who incited the violence, and I'm not so convinced they were Trump supporters to be honest, it could have very well been another group to make Trump supporters and the party look bad,  but I'll reserve my judgement on that until law enforcement completes it's investigation.

 

As for Trump,  IMO, he did incite those who were planning to protest that day, but I don't think he realized to what extent  certainly not to the violent degree that happened. Words are very powerful when elected leaders use them and Trump used his words recklessly that day, just as he has in the past, only worst this time, we've had a ear full of it for 4 years..  Would I vote for him again? if his opponent was a Democrat?, hell YES!  but if he was running against another Republican in the primaries like a Tom Cotton or Ted Cruz, he wouldn't get my vote, just like he didn't get it in the 2016 primaries.
