They are mirror images, well many more of them,  what is worrying is that you do not see them in the MSM, all I have come across today is coverage against the somewhat weird suggestion that they were active in DC. For many MSM watchers they must have been wondering who they are and why this was mentioned.

 

The lack of a MOR media is deeply worrying. Portland is of course the classic example and the easiest one to mention, sadly not the only location.

Here is the thing, I live in Seattle and visit Portland some. I am getting my info a lot more first hand than Rush Limbaugh or Fox News on the topic. The threat here is 1 Covid 2homeless population 3 737 max delays 4 west seattle bridge.

But go-ahead tell me about my neighborhood.

He does see them, he sees them all over this thread, attacks on police, attacks on precincts, attacks on businesses, attacks on courthouses, trying to burn them down, breaking out their windows, city councilors allowing people to storm City Hall, endless bullhorning and harassing of elected officials and citizens, taking over parts of cities and shaking down locals, tearing apart national monuments across the country. He and they know all about this, they just clearly agree with it. I do admire some of the tactics. Kinda like the first topic one person made, "convince me...", and came up with criteria each time to get people to pointlessly try and convince them of something they'd never consider in the first place. That's precisely how, on a larger scale, they muddle discourse which paralyzes action against what's going on. While people are pointlessly trying to convince them how insane they're being, their buddies are busy raising complete hell.

See, this thread is full of actual videos from this region showing precisely what's being said. So there's no need to even listen to another person's "fiery but peaceful" narration of what's happening, beyond the use of it for parody.

I have friends in Portland. They tell me outside of a couple of blocks, life is pretty normal, or normal for COVID times.

False equivalence , obviously. The CHOP/CHAZ is not a symbol of democracy, did not house the center of our nations government, and was not in the midst of certifying the results of our electoral college.
