For the most part I only am pro-death penalty reserved for the most horrible of crimes, but the events of this week have possibly set me off. Overthrowing a government might count? My ancestors didn't fight and die for this country so that a bunch of whining baby-'men' could take a poop down the halls of Congress and try to kill the VP and anyone else that didn't indulge their fantasyland.

I had to stay away from VJ and social media when it was all happening. Couldn't trust myself to be rational, because yeah I wanted every one of those terrorists lined up against the wall. I'm better now though. :)

Funny, a person of color not affiliated with the rioters was detained , the magahats roamed the halls and ran off with podiums.

- It was antifa crisis actors

- but the Dems

- Libs pushed them too far

- Election was stolen

- BLM

- Maybe the president bears some blame, but...

He was so special he counted as all 68 arrests too! 🤣

You guys are going to have to make up your mind. Either everyone there at the Capitol was part of it or they weren't. He was there, in fact, with the lady shot in the neck. He was clearly encouraging what was happening.

It doesn't take away from the primary culprits here, but hey, if you want to be like the conspiracy theorists saying the media and Antifa orchestrated all of this, fine with me.

Why do all those memes always look like meth was involved in the actual "collage" work?

Meth is a pretty common co-conspirator. It needs to be arrested asap.

Republican senators say they feel a sense of growing regret over not standing up to President Trump sooner — a day after a violent mob ransacked the Capitol building in one of the darkest and most humiliating days in U.S. history.

One Republican senator who requested anonymity to discuss his conversations with GOP colleagues acknowledged GOP lawmakers should have served as a stronger check on the president over the past four years. We should have done more to push back, both against his rhetoric and some of the things he did legislatively,” said the lawmaker. “The mistake we made is that we always thought he was going to get better. We thought that once he got the nomination and then once he got a Cabinet, he was going to get better, he was going to be more presidential.”

“The Republican leadership explained repeatedly that we’d need Trump to help get votes out,” said the lawmaker, who added that colleagues worried the president would find a way to sabotage them in Georgia runoff races if they quickly acknowledged Joe Biden as president-elect or forcefully dismissed claims of widespread voter fraud.

Yeah because nuance isn't a thing.

You are going to need to provide a source for

"He was clearly encouraging what was happening."
