I'm thinking it's possible that Mike Pence threatened Trump that he will invoke the 25th if Trump doesn't ask for people to calm down and promise a peaceful transition. Judging by the fact that Trump had to be convinced to even give the lackluster tweets telling his supporters to go home.

I'm sorry... who was pushing? Because from what I saw, it was the guy behind the bullet proof glass that was pushing. The guy who said he was going to march down Pennsylvania Avenue with his mob, and then turned around and went back to the White House to watch his mob on cable news defile our capital. This wasn't the Democrats or Antifa or BLM. And nobody's trying to "hurt" anyone. This president doesn't deserve to lead this country for twelve hours, let alone twelve days.

The first two times I was in Iraq was because I was with the Marines, the third time as a Contractor. I also served in Afghanistan as a Marine once, but I lived there for 2 years as a Contractor as well

Lucky for me I'm not in one of your forums. (although I'd have no problem with banning conspiracy theorists... 9/11, QAnon, deep staters, false flaggers, etc)

 

But to be clear, what the president did two days ago was sedition by the very definition of the word.

I don't know how one gets from "9/11 conspiracy nut" to "neo-nazi bomber", but I definitely admired the gleeful use of pixel authority to shut down discussion as if that's some sort of heroic act against the former. The lost plot here seems to be drivers of instability and the abdication of common principles. No one should wonder why things don't get better following such an authoritarian approach.

Exactly what I expected. Completely different when its not your home, not your family, not born there , not living it your whole life with each foreign country coming one after another. Different when you are protected by military and contractors  and carry protection of your own, have a radio, have armored cars, have back up. Different when you are kidnapped and tortured. 

I don’t know why I even bother trying to make anyone understand.

I'm anti-death-penalty, but yeah, agreed in spirit.

For the most part I only am pro-death penalty reserved for the most horrible of crimes, but the events of this week have possibly set me off. Overthrowing a government might count? My ancestors didn't fight and die for this country so that a bunch of whining baby-'men' could take a poop down the halls of Congress and try to kill the VP and anyone else that didn't indulge their fantasyland.
