I really don't understand how anyone, least of all the police did not know how this wasn't coming. Some of these people are well known, well funded, and had been advertising for weeks online what they intended to do. They are online even now making threats about coming back with guns on the 20th. I hope now it's finally taken seriously. It is a miracle no one else was killed but the persons a part of the mob.

 

Btw, there was a guy online so concerned I remember reading his thread back in December where he predicted.. literally predicted everything that happened yesterday.

i said months ago in this thread (prob got deleted though) that some of you are just convinced there is just a very big conspiracy specifically against your interests for some reason.

i hope bowser closes down the city before inauguration. if you dont live in the city or have work certification you will need to stay home.

 

people want to act like this is a 3rd world country, govt should start treating it as such with check points and all

Agree that most of not all are justified. George Floyd was an exception and I dont know anyone who didnt condemn what happened. 

Atlanta was engulfed in violence, because Police were very justified in shooting Rayshard Brooks. A convicted  felon with a past history of violence. The police officers were very professional right up to the point Brooks attacked them. Then while fleeing in the dark he turned around and fired a tasr at an officer, which resulted him being justifiably shot. Yet massive violence ensued which resulted in loss of life and millions in property destruction.

The most famous case was in St. Louis, where Michael Brown after robbing a store by force attacked a police officer and tried to take he weapon. The action resulted him being shot, once again millions in property was destroyed and lives were lost.

Uh no. Things like observing ballots is normal. In adjudicating ballots, people of both parties verifying ballots is normal. Kicking people out and making them stand back to where they can't see anything is the only thing abnormal here. Fighting to prevent transparency lends to the idea of fraud and election misconduct. I have no idea what kind of people enjoy that sort of thing transpiring.

Funny enough we've had one election overturned in Nevada and in that election they decided to leave the Trump votes alone. The Democrat primary in states like Georgia? Utter disaster. States have had to do elections over before because of issues like this. There were articles posted from the media which talked about potential security issues. Unfortunately Republicans likely preferred them because they thought they'd benefit from it. That would be the fault of corrupt Republican leaders. In some ways it makes me happy seeing Republicans lose in that state with the stuff they've been pulling, but all elections need to be done legitimately. I haven't felt like this since 2001.

Unless you redefine the meaning of the word peaceful to mean "using violence, entering forcefully and breaking the law" then there's nothing peaceful about what happened

Philando Castile is a case that would get many people, including gun rights advocates, upset.  The one that will always bother me the most is Tamir Rice.  Cop just rolled up and killed a kid.
