I'm reminded what a retired Israeli Air Force colonel once told me:  "A dead terrorist can rarely cause you future problems."

 

If Federal troops in one of these hellholes were to come under assault and mow them all down dead, I'd foresee absolute howls and proclamations of martyrdom by the Democrats, but also a cessation of similar lawlessness absolutely everywhere else... and perhaps feelings (if not expressions) of relief by the terrorized populace.  Does anyone else concur?  Is this a worthwhile or necessary risk?

Regarding PR...at the end of the day it's not that you should worry about but the damage and destruction to lives and property that could occur otherwise. I've never really been the type to care what anybody thinks, not only on a personal level, but pretty much as an Israeli you kind of learn that's not what's important pretty quickly lol
