An appropriate term for their populace-paralyzing, reality-inverting methodology here is "gaslighting". When they elevated this term to popularity they did so as a weapon, which is why they want to control its meaning for their own purposes, but really, as mentioned, it's a methodology they themselves use. Does well at what its intended to do.. paralyze people, get them stuck in this utterly pointless act of "calling out" things so they don't do what the Kyle Rittenhouse's or Detroit Michigan PD's do and actually put a stop to it. Like the Bolshevik namesake of one of their movements, the psychological warfare was far more useful in overthrowing the government than trying to simply declare war formally and just attack. It's why it's more dangerous to me than funny, because they are making serious inroads in the vast majority of major cities.

I inadvertantly left out President Trump, to thank. To quote Ronald Reagan concerning so-called "peaceful protesters", "I wonder if they ever asked themselves that if they should have the kind of government they apparently seek, no one would ever be able to do what they are doing again". Without Trump, the alternative is what Reagan was talking about

You know, I know there is no perfect world, but I wish people in the USA, all people, could see how it is on a military base overseas. We get along, as family. We are AMERICANS... black, white, red, brown, yellow. We are family. We are the HUMAN race. We show kindness and simple courtesies and respect to each other. In the Commissary parking lot, white yields to black, and black greets white with a pleasant smile, and white says "excuse me" in the shopping aisle. The black Security Forces guard at the gate greets white me pleasantly and white me is touched by the kindness and thankful to be here overseas where we are ALL the same, all one family. I know that even the military is not perfect. But the things I mentioned, in these times, those moments really touch me. Those kinds of things here, in contrast to the riots in the States, really stand out to me.

Well, you can thank your wife for me.  I don’t care what anyone else here thinks, I have respect for our military folks who serve and protect.  

 

A lot of people talk about the 1% rich in this country, but they don't know as much about the 1% who serve their country.

I had orders as a GS12 to Singapore this year and then stupid Covid came up and I had to deny that promotion. I am still upset about it
