There was a link cited shortly ago that suggested an overwhelming percent of "protests" are peaceful. Interestingly that study actually points out how widespread riots are (their allowing to be spread and escalated) and precisely the premise of this topic that apparently needed debating at the start:

Given the massive hyperbole of Charlottesville to pretend white supremacist losers with tiki torches chanting in their little crowd about not replacing them, as if all the horrors of the KKK, slavery, and Jim Crow are coming back because of this isolated group's mere crying, it's interesting how much the left and those sympathetic with Antifa/BLM play down the rioting causing such widespread chaos. Rest assured if this violence was happening across the country due to white supremacists the left's tune along with the usuals eg media would be in utter contrast talking about the end of the world. Fortunately society wouldn't have tolerated their expansion in such a way, but it serves as a point of alarm at how the extremism of these anarcho-communists has been tolerated and allowed to become so widespread over these several months, getting support by the media and by local elected leaders who allow immediate release of people charged with serious crimes to go continue to inflict violence, or use their power to force the police to stand down and allow violent destruction not to mention handcuff police even when they themselves are being attacked. Then they signal their support for riots and these domestic terrorists by softening punishment for violent crimes committed against police. There must be more forceful opposition to this especially when they're planning an even greater escalation of violence if Trump is re-elected as logic points to.

It wasn't a terrorist attack, it was just road-place violence.

 

Also believe the sole person was sentenced to life plus some hundred years for his crime.  But @Burnt Reynolds was correct in his assessment.

And that event and the far right idiots were soundly rejected by the President.  I have yet to hear Old Joe reject Antifa, or the BLM organization which are just as bad hate groups as those on the far right.  Heck, Senator Kamala Harris expressed her overwhelming support for Jacob Blake an accused rapist.  I guess her support for the #metoo movement is another flip/flop on her part.

 

Ms. Harris offered her support Monday for Mr. Blake, 29, who remains hospitalized after being shot in the back by an officer in Kenosha, Wisconsin, speaking with him by phone and visiting with several of his relatives and attorneys at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

She later called the meeting “really wonderful,” adding that she wanted to “express concern for their well-being and of course, for their brother and their son’s well-being, and to let them know that they have support.”

Ask yourself a question this one time. Why would they sue the local/state police for them to stop live streaming the body cam footage to the world? Oh yeah because they don't want the world to see what they are actually doing in real time, and they don't want people to track them down. 

They pick up the message the media and Democrats are sending when they attempt narrative control in the way they do.. if there's no media or others to report what they do, they feel like they can control the narrative. It's really a preview of what happens if these people attain power, if CHOP/CHAZ wasn't enough.
