Is the joint sponsor the same has affidavit of support?

The joint sponsor has to fill out the affidavit of support along with the primary sponsor. Maybe it’s time to get a job like the rest of us?

Don’t comment on my questions if you are going to be rude, my mom is 78 yrs old, she doesn’t need to work she have me to support her.

It’s against the rules of the site to tell someone not to post. Maybe if you explained that a 78 year old would like to sponsor someone you would get a different response. We aren’t mind readers. Personally I don’t know any 78 year old that hasn’t worked in their life but okay. She will face an uphill battle but it’s possible with a joint sponsor that makes more than enough.

As above, it helps if you provide relevant information up front to get relevant answers rather than post some general vague question then get upset when people misinterpret you.

Read it all, specifically “responsibilities of sponsor” and “joint sponsor”

and there are detailed instructions with the form
