I’m a us citizen and I just got back last week from visiting my fiancé in London. I had to quarantine there for two weeks. But no problem coming home. I think you have to fly into one of the required airports. My typical airport is Newark which is one of them. But if you read the proclamation it says non us citizens.

Where is your fiance? Some countries might not even let you in.

Where do you find the required airports?

I think it depends on where in the EU.  I had no issues with going to the UK other than having to quarantining there for two weeks and back home for two weeks.

Many EU countries are now making exceptions for unmarried couples with a documented established relationship. You can find information online about what your country requires for the exception.

I had an Airbnb for 2 weeks where I quarantined. Before arriving in the UK I think it’s 48 hours prior I had to provide where I was staying and my contact information in case they wanted to check up on me. They didn’t.
