We gave the 221gs to 2go on Tuesday. Now they are saying it will be delivered on Monday. 6 days to go 20km. Great service.

We are finding that the trip back for the visa from the embassy is no faster. I hope yours will be in hand soon.

Our 221gs arrived at the embassy yesterday and the status updated to 8/24. Today it updated to 8/25 last accessed but it still says REFUSED.

Ours bounced like that for some weeks, a couple days of a new updated date each week. Then it went to Application Processing for a couple weeks, and then Issued. We were not expedited.

I really think there was something special about your case. Also it was k1 and not IR1. The people who had the exact same circumstances as me were processed in a few days.

Maybe, it took extra time for the I-129F NOA2 approval also.

Now we are at the nerve-racking stage of working out which part of the visa packet you can open without having to start all over.

I dont think manila is giving a sealed envelope to give at the port of entry anymore. It's all online now. So you can open everything. Call the embassy to be sure. It may be different for k1.

True but only for spousal.   K1s still get the packet

YMMV
