AOS Interview scheduled

Hi everyone,

Tonight I received an update per email from USCIS saying my I485 is ready for an interview. I’m going to gather all documents tomorrow to be up front since I don’t have an EAD yet so nothing better to do.

I wasn’t very smart with submitting the whole AOS package since I forgot to make copies. I did save all the forms with information on my MacBook and also the attachments but I might have forgotten a few things. More so the things like supporting documents for the I944 (I believe this is not necessary for now).

My question is, did they look at your whole package or just the I485? I know I have to show that we have health insurance together, bank account, car insurance and those things. Does it matter if I would make a screenshot from our health and car insurance website for example? How was your interview? I’m not worried about our bonafide marriage or answering questions but more documents and just wanting peoples experience!

Thank you all in advance for helping me and hope y’all stay safe!!

"Ready for interview" is not " interview scheduled" so you still have a long wait.

Screenshot is not a good evidene, you need to print IDs, documents and statements legibly.

Thank you for your response. I just got an update that said interview was scheduled. What do you mean by IDs?

Alright, got it. What did you do for health insurance? We have health insurance together through his job but when I go to Blue Cross Blue Shield and log in it says our name but on our ID card it just says my husbands name but on the side it says health individual/ spouse.

That’t good, print the statements also. It must mention your name in there

A bit late but maybe still relevant for you.

We used several printouts from webpages during the whole journey. Health insurance (we have separate cards that do not list the other people on the policy). one of the 401K's, phone bills.

It’s not too late! I’m still waiting on my letter 😁. That’s what I’ve got now as well since the health insurance cards are on my husband name I used some prints from their website and took the phone bill with both our names listed as users, car insurance, shared bank account and lease agreement.
