My Parents need help with N-400 doubts

Hello all,

My parents currently have their permanent resident cards are in the process of filing N-400, Application of Naturalization.

I have a couple of doubts, I need help.

- When filing do my parents have to file separate or can they file together? 

- Do my parents have to fill Part 6: Information about Parents even though their parents a deceased? 

-Do my parents have to fill Part 7: Information about children?

-Do my parents have to fill information about registering for the selective service?

They file separately. It’s two completely different applications.

They have to fill out everything or write N/A or None whichever applies.

Im curious as to why you would think they wouldn’t have to mention their children..

Yes of course they have to answer about registering for the selective service.

Yes of course they have to answer about registering for the selective service.

I didn't know if they had to mention me or not. I didn't know if there was a specific age. 

They are going to put no for selective service because we lived in brazil, and when we've came to US they we're past the age range for selective service.

- Do my parents have to fill Part 6: Information about Parents even though their parents a deceased? - Yes (but if they were not US citizens you'll skip their names and birth info)

-Do my parents have to fill Part 7: Information about children? - Yes, all children

-Do my parents have to fill information about registering for the selective service? - Yes fill. but if they were outside the age range, then check No.
