I apologize if this has already been answered I have tried to search this ?.  I checked my status at NVC to an update and it sent me this notice.. listing the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. I was under the impression the file would be forwarded on to the US Consulate in Manila. Process the DS16O online pay fees and hand carry most of the required documents to the interview. ie: affidavit of support, other financial docs, etc. Is this wrong or should I do I complete documents to NVC?  I have not received anything from NVC as of yet except by phone our case and invoice numbers. 863518455_ScreenShot2020-08-09at12_43_59PM.thumb.png.15afe59ab9a4c3acb86e97097da8e863.png

Disregard.   NVC does nothing for a k1.  Visit the Manila embassy website for the 5 steps required.

YMMV

That is a "form letter" meant for those processing Immigrant Visas.   K-1 is not included.   NVC sends it out anyway, just ignore it.

Your impression is correct, everything is handled in the Philippines.   There is not a fee for the DS-160.   There is the visa fee paid through RCBC bank  info in this link
