Hi all!

So I returned from the United states after being stuck there due to our borders being shut. I was actually waiting for my priority date to become current (Nov 2015). I returned home once it open and remained here ever since. I received  information from NVC and I filled out and submitted my I-864 and my IV( July 18th) I haven't heard anything from them on it as yet. my question is can I still travel to the USA on my b1/b2 visa?

What visa category are you? Your profile says IR5 but IR5 doesn’t need to wait for priority date to be current.

CBP may be suspicious you are returning to adjust status given that your category is currently banned for visa issuance (and you even said in first post you were originally trying to wait for your priority date to be current so this seems a realistic conclusion about what you want to do).  If they figure out what you are trying to do, and they are trained to be suspicious, you could well be denied entry.  Up to you if you think it’s worth the risk.
