I130 March filers

We are the March filer.My husband sent the papers en of March to the California Service Center.

Now i checked our status online and saw that last updated 3 April 2007.This mean is some one has touched my case?

As per visajourney our I-130 will be adjudicated on August 8th.Is this normal procedure or abnormal?

When i check the other members timeline i seen that they did not wait this much.

Please let me know that when we should apply for I-129?

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here at VJ. I just wanted to know if any March filers for the I130 were approved yet. I filed early March and received my NOA1 around March 11. When I registered there was a message that stated the my application should be adjudicated around September 13. I have seen people's timelines and they have been approved in about 3 months. Just wanted to know if the time process for the I130 is 6 months or does it depend on the case. I"m a USC.

your touch on June 13th could have been something.... try the "RFE trick" and talk to a CSC operator.

I filed my I-130 in early March and then my I-129F a couple weeks later. No approvals on either one yet. I have seen many other people with I-130s approved who filed in March also, though. Just depends on the case I guess.

You're in the April transfer to CSC brigade. Bear in mind that the CSC starts counting over again. If you call them, they consider you a May 1st filer. I checked iwth my congressman and that's what I learned. So add a month to your estimates. Factor in that the CSC is absolutely blitzed and then remember it's summer and they're taking their holidays.

I believe you were supposed to file your I129 when you received your NOA1 for your I130.

Regarding the date last updated, maybe that was the date they sent out your NOA1.

If you had already received your NOA1 then it means that they looked at your case.

I"m still learning the process, if I'm wrong please someone correct me. THanks.

Wow! I didn't think that when a case is transferred to CSC that they would start counting over again.

Mine was transferred in late may so oh my God. lol I need lots of patience. Thanks for the info Alan.

Anytime Jaxguy. I"m learning the process as well. Now is when the headaches begin. I check the status 3 and 4 times a day to see if I was "touched" or got any news. Good luck!

Actually our first application to the California Service Center was on November 2006.

My husband send all necessary dox to the CSC office by regular mail.

We have waited 6 months without any answer from them.When we called the office we found out that they never received the docs..We did not know that we should send them by USPS.Thus we lost 6 months and it is good enough to make us crazy.After this bad news we sent our copy docs. to the office end of March 2007 and the NOA1 is receved on 02 May 2007.Still awaiting for a new step.I hope this is normal procedure so we do not wait for nothing again.

Late march filer here,, last touch on my i130 was back in april (4/10) As everyone on here i am worried given that my interview date is in just about a month from now.

I just wonder how can you know if your case has been touched? What do you need to do to see if your case is touched or not?

I am a late March filer. My file has not been touched at all since it was originally recieved. I hope something starts to move soon. I see others that have gotten allot of activity to their case.

I have just checked uscis web site and seen that it has touched yesterday on 29 June 2007.

now i checked it again and it seems touched today also.

We just found out that our I-130 approved and mailed on 03 July 2007.

YAY!!
