Hello everyone,

Me and my fiancee has run into a bit of trouble.  My fiancee is from Cebu CIty and she received a letter from the U.S Embassy last June 15 stating that she needs to do her medical exam since it has already expired.  We were wondering if anyone of you have done their medical exam at St. Lukes Medical Extension Clinic? If yes, can you please give us some information what you been through?  Any input that you can share will be appreciated.

Mine was last July 28. My result was given the same day, no need to be early since pandemic applicants are less. I went there early tho and before we get inside the personnel will going to ask your requirements, make sure u have all the requirements needed or else it will cause more delays and after few mins at 6am they let us in.

So far its all good, not to crowded and limited.

And the result it depends, my first test was done 8am but they asked me to go back around 12:30pm for my 2nd xray and its result before the Immunization. My result has no problems and was called for Immunization (final stage) before going back to the reception for my (brown sealed envelop).

p.s applicants next to me that day was told to go back the next day.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of the conversation. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will better prepare you for your interview. It's also a better place for you to post your question for a larger pool of respondents.

The first thing I would note is that they extended medical validity by 1 month if it occurred in the first half of this year.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/one-month-extension-of-immigrant-visa-medical-examinations.html

I'm a little confused what is being asked exactly. She already had a medical (which is expiring/expired). It could only have been done at SLEC. So she should already know what the experience is like...?

Can you explain how using the symbol  @ with a members name how one would find it.

I am not familiar with this type of sorcery. B-)

Adding the "@" symbol tags the user.......then the system will notify the member that someone has mentioned his/her name in a post.  Like this:    @Allovertheworld
