How long can you wait before you pay the medical interview fee? Can you wait till the day before the interview? When does the fee for the actual interview have to be paid?

Her I-130

1-16-2007 sent

1-19-2007 NOA1

2-1-2007 Touch

4-30-2007 Approved

Her I-129F

1-23-2007 sent (but sent it to Vermont)

2-16-2007 resent a new package

2-26-2007 NOA1

3-2-2007 NOA1 (The one I sent to Vermont...Ugh)

3-2-2007 Sent to Vermont

3-6-2007 Went to "Satelitte Center" to talk about having 2 I-129Fs

3-7-2007 Touch

3-9-2007 Touch

3-12-2007 Touch

3-12-2007 Sent to Vermont

3-13-2007 Touch

3-14-2007 Touch

4-30-2007 Both approved

5-04-2007 The One I sent to Vermont is the one the goes to embassy from NVC

you will pay the med fee the day you're taking your med exam... as for the interview/visa fee, you'll have to pay before the interview in any BPI (bank of the phil island)... as soon as you have the sched already you can start paying them. the embassy gave me just 3 weeks notice before my interview so i paid BPI 2 weeks before my interview...

Citizenship N-400

4/15/2010- sent my N-400 via fedex overnight

4/16/2010- signed and delivered

4/29/2010- check cleared

Medical Fee-> you will have to pay at SLEC on the day of your medical ($95- paid in pesos on the prevailing exchange rate).

Interview Fee -> for K-visas, you need to pay at BPI or Citibank and don't forget the validation forms/receipts. Pay days (even weeks) before your interview.

03 March 2010 - USCIS Acceptance Confirmation via e-mail and text message

06 March 2010 - received I-797C, Notice of Action/Receipt

01 April 2010 - Biometrics Appointment (Biometrics done 4/7/10)

27 April 2010 - received I-797C/ Request to Appear for Naturalization Interview

02 June 2010 - Interview schedule

17 June 2010 - Oath Taking (Memorial Auditorium, Sacramento, CA)
