Did you just receive an email today?

I didn't expect them to give new dates until the end of the month.

My CC date is 2 weeks after you, so maybe next month I'll hear something.

Yes, yesterday when I checked I was still at NVC and today in the morning I checked my email, and it was sent at 3 am :) ... yeah hopefully you get yours soon !!  It's on a Friday, do you know if they give interviews Saturday, or will I have to wait for my 2nd interview on Monday?

The consulate is only M-F, that's unfortunate, but those 2 days are nothing compared to waiting for an interview.

Check the facebook group for people who have had interviews recently.

So NVC scheduled your interview? I thought your case gets transferred to Juarez in your status and then you get your interview is scheduled. I’m new to this and still researching. My lawyer finally submitted everything to NVC today so now we wait.

This is the text they send you when you become Documentarily Qualified

"NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEX to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner and attorney (if applicable)."

The notices are often delayed, so your case may already be in Juarez when you find out

Thank you so much for sharing that it gives me clarity. Now we go into that waiting period again 😕

Did your case complete at NVC already?

FYI wait time for an interview these days is about 18 months, of course everyones case is unique.

I saw another post on facebook yesterday with the same CC date and interview.

Nice! I was starting to worry I didn't see anyone posting the same date as me and of course I spent all night siking myself out and thinking I was prechosen to get denied for any reason. I know that's not how it works but before I was super anxious to get my interview and now my stomach is in knots and anxious about being denied for missing anything. :(

I feel the same way!

One thing is getting the interview the other is getting through the interview.

Even if you're missing something it's not a denial, you just need to send in what they want and they often even still keep your passport.

super stressful process I hope we both get through this without any major hiccups! I'm just worried about getting the police report because I don't have proof of address but on FB page the casa de huespedes say they help you with that, so I hope it works!
