We stayed at ibis, it is ok for what we needed, there are several hotels around the consulate, ibis included, you will hear things like "X hotel is the closest". Truth is there are like 5 or 6 that are all close and within walking distance.

Anyone has heard any word on what is happening at CDJ?

It seems to me like CDJ has not scheduled any interviews for November... Did they stop services again?

My case has been ready at CDJ. Expedite recieved email sept 8 and still no interview. I call consulate twice a week. And all they keep saying is wait for the email. They even have escalated my case there . They havent stopped servicing just focusing on older cases it seems and slowed down a whole lot 😪

it is great that they are working on older cases, but something is odd...

Why would they tell the NVC "hey, send me a bunch of cases" then bring operations to (nearly) a halt? My guess is that something happened that they were not expecting.

I saw 2 people with September 2020 CC get interviews for December.

Now I wouldn't get as excited to say things are back on track yet, but I hope it's going in that direction.

My case status was recently updated from "At NVC" to "Action required: Submit requested documents". I hope that is a good thing, but I am not sure...
