Yes so far 3-4 people have been assigned interviews without requesting an expedite! They were people who's interviews were cancelled after the consulate closed.  Which means they have started rescheduling cancelled interviews.

Sorry I wasn't clear and my excitement only made sense to me 😄

not sure I understand that process. I would think your NVC case arrived in Juarez not your NOA2, unless you're talking about a different process that I don't know about

Just saw this on Facebook also. We must be following the same group.

Hopefully they're getting ready to re-open,  but need to take care of those whose case is already at CDJ but were cancelled early in the pandemic.

🤞

Would be just like Juarez not to announce anything n slowly start back up, they can kiss my rear

At the moment, it looks like they're only scheduling appointment for those whose case is already at CDJ, had their appointments cancelled back in March 2020, and are currently waiting in Mexico.

I am not sure where they're going with this.

My gripe is; the virus is worse than ever right now.Couldn’t they’ve slowly done this safely MONTHS N MONTHS ago?

Looks like it is only for applicants who are currently in Mexico...

Yeah. Perhaps I'm biased cause I'm in Mexico but what's the urgency for those who are not separated and waiting for their appt in the US?

I have never been able to live with my husband 😥 other than a few couple's weeks visits here and there.

Is it maybe that they/you haven't been back in Mexico for years and are just waiting for the interview to do that?

This also got me excited, but the announcement clearly states they should be in Mexico AND need an expedited appointment.

If this is true, it's not much different than before when it was needed to apply for the emergency/expedited appointment.
