I got DQ October 5th assuming i still have about a year left of wait at this pace :,(

My guesstimate would be sometime between October-January.

July seems to have been slower,  before they were doing at least 2 months at a time.

Hi everyone, we just got DQ'd on June 22th, 2021. And I hadn't been following the threads on the Consulate at Cd. Juárez, and now I'm learning about this backlog of interviews,  going back more than 1 year. This is so heartbreaking to find out. For some reason, in our minds, after the wait from uscis and nvc, the interview wouldn't take longer than 2 months, and that's not the case.

At least having a thread like this to follow is a little comforting.

I hope that they can start picking up on the people that have been waiting for so long, and they can also get to our case.

Hi everyone, I received my interview notice on Friday. I DQ’d may 22 2020 (IR1) separated. Quick question is it better to receive the package in Juarez or in my spouses hometown in Mexico? Which is faster?

I don't know what the current situation is,  but in the part,  the answer was always Juarez because it was sent from there.

If you receive it in Juarez they say it takes around 2 or 3 days. We had other plans and couldn't stay in Juarez so I had it sent to the CAS in my city and it arrived exactly a week after the interview

I received my DQ on December 16 2019. I have received 3 or 4 of the letter saying I’m in the queue for an interview 😩 Can anyone please point me in the direction of Facebook groups or WhatsApp chats? I would like to see if anyone is in a similar situation and can give me some hope. Husband and I are waiting in US, Consulate for appointment is CD Juarez.

Hi, just so you know the consulate (or maybe NVC) decided to first assign interviews to those couples who are "separated" . Separated as in one person in the US and the other waiting in Mexico, to promote the "reunification" of families which is the whole point of the spouse visa.

That's why you are still waiting for your interview, I'm sorry you are still waiting, and it is not fair but that's how it is for the time being.

There are many people waiting like you so you're not alone on this. Check out the facebook groups "citados al consulado de cd juarez"

This is the whatsapp group for people who are both together in the US

On Friday a bunch of people with cc July 2020 got interviews, was surprised to see that being May took so long for them to get through.

I did see 1 or 2 2019 pop up, not totally sure on what the category was, not everyone alway posts the full details.
