the group chat on whatsapp that was added above. I joined and I've seen appointments with later CC's getting interviews, where they are both already together

yeah... my spouse and I are already in the US. They are prioritizing interviews for those who are separated from their relatives.

I don't believe that is the best approach, but that is just my own personal opinion...

Hello I am new here but I am desperate to find some hope! My husband has been in Mexico because we chose VD but everything about our case is complete it is just awaiting on an appointment date it has been completed since September 2019 and he left to go to Mexico December 2019 the kids and I have been a few times to visit him but guys just like I’m certain others are desperate we are in an awful depression because we miss him so much!  Our attorney just keeps saying appointments are being made quickly so hopefully his will come soon. Can anyone give me maybe a tiny bit of hope? I am in dire need of it. Being separated for almost two years has taken its toll on us in every way!

thanks and God bless!

I saw that as well and that is super frustrating. Why are they doing cases with later CCs? 🤬

That what I don’t understand is how this works. Our case DQ like completely done September 2019 he’s been gone since December 2019 this feels unbearable at times. Almost 2 years being separated from the kids and I! I get so many families are in the same situation but man I never expected it to be this long.

I can only imagine :(. Being seperated must be hard!! At this point Im also confused how they are doing things. Makes no sense!!!

Yeah we’ve had our attorney and senator both submit inquires! All my attorney can tell us is that she is seeing appointments move quickly so she’s hoping ours will be soon as well!

Are you separated from your spouse? This does sound very frustrating

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if there is a specific timeframe in the month where they assign appointments. It is strange the way the assign appointments, from what I've seen. I have a DQ date of May 22(no appointment yet) and I've seen appointments go out with a DQ date of May 28th. Any thoughts?

Not really... It really varies. Are you or the beneficiary waiting in the US? Did you receive receive the "120" or "60" days email notification? If that is a "no" to both questions, there is a high change you will get an interview sometime this months or next.

If the answer is "yes" to both questions, then you're in the same ship as me and that ship is going nowhere at the moment. I've been waiting since November 2019.
