There's a 120 days notice that's a generic email, but not everyone gets it for some reason.

You can find more posts in the forum if you search 120 days notice

Yeah, I am aware of it. Strangely, today I also received the 60 days notice.

I don't think they mean anything special, other than "keep waiting".

I CC'd in may 2020. Beneficiary outside the U.S.. What do you guys estimate 7-8 months?

Before covid it was 1 year until appointment (I think you'd maybe get notified before that)

During covid 2 years, now, seems about 1.5.

If things continue like they are you could be just a few months away, but I"d wait to see that they start 2020 first because there seems to be people from 2019 who got skipped and I'd assume they need to get to them at some point.

I just received my interview letter 😱, I really thought it would arrive sometime in late July!

If some of you are in the whatsapp group then I'm sure you've already read what I posted, you can see my timeline below

DQ Date: January 21st 2020 (Im guessing the real CC date is a few days prior but this is when I received the DQ email)

Interview Date: June 30th, 2021

I am in MX and spouse in the US (although he's in Mexico now for the summer)

Congratulations!! Wow they are going faster than I thought! I've been checking FB groups and some people that DQ on december 2019 were receiving their interview appointments. It seems they are going faster for spouses that are separate. I've been following the chart someone made on how they thought the interviews will be scheduled and hoping is accurate :)

Wow congratulations.

I saw others from January in the facebook group also got appointments, then I saw one from February!

Hopefully they continue full steam ahead. But would still be nice to know why some are being skipped, I could end up in that group too.

Yep I have no idea why some are being skipped tbh, we never sent expedite or inquiry and also never received the 60 days/120 days email

@Juliet57 Hi Juliet was it a physical letter or was it an email?

It was an email, printing it should be enough

Thank you yes I think it’s because we are not in the US since the visa purpose is “family reunification”

What groups are being skipped. Beneficiaries that are in the U.S.?

Posted

My understanding that they are focusing on trying to clear all of the beneficiaries that are in jeopardy of aging out.   Otherwise the process is the same for CR and IR, which is painfully slow at times.

I'm wondering if it's IR1 people that are getting all of the interviews now and CR1 that have to wait longer.

No, I think they're only focusing on beneficiaries waiting outside the US.

It is fine with me if they want to focus 60-70% of their efforts on a particular group, but do not completely stall on the others. That is frustrating.

I’ve been waiting since August of 2020 for my interview. How long do you think I have to keep waiting ?
