Early this morning, received email and text that I-130 petition was approved. I logged in and sure enough.....way faster than I had anticipated.

Also of note, the NOA1 said processing center was Nebraska but NOA2 came from California.

Congratulations!!!

It looks like approval is faster for those who have been married a long time, which makes a lot of sense.

It makes sense, our attorney, that we consulted prior to filing, said the same, that in our case processing should be under 6months if not faster. Fingers crossed

wowww ... congratulations.. that was super fast..

were you able to expidite? any insights?

No. no expedite...no insights really either. Could be we've been married for quite a while, we were sort of anticipating a long wait so filed but weren't in any hurry, so now we will delay at this stage for a bit as we have a lot of things to take care of here first. I have that kind of luck though...if I was in a hurry it probably would've taken 13 months or longer.

Oh, but based on my limited experience, don't pay too much attention to the service center or estimated times....our NOA1 said Nebraska but NOA2 was California and estimated time for processing was February/March 2021....

what do you consider a long time. 2 years for us and Feb 3rd 21 will be z year wait.

Its BS the order that they are doing this in.

If you checked @PGA's timeline, you would have seen that they have been married for 6 years before they submitted their i-130.  Obviously it's not the ONLY factor, but it looks like it does have some weight.

In my case, approval came 4 days before our first anniversary and 59 days after filing. We have not been married a long time but definitely other factors were considered. My husband and I live together since we got married and have proof of comingled finances.

You have been waiting 10 months, so I think you should call USCIS and see what's going on.

I was told that length of marriage isn't factored in.

I cannot call them because im inside normal processing times. USCIS has the luxury of moving the goal posts. I do not
