If you haven't looked you need to check out pinterest. So many creamy and non cream base sauces out there. I have done so many different things it's crazy.

I'm not a fan of eggs unless scramble and over cooked so this was for everyone else in the house minus the little guy who hates eggs. You can try that sauce I didn't use that one. It was a last minute idea and I had no wine in the house. But I did make a brown butter and pancetta sauce with baby portabella mushrooms. The sauce was amazing as simple as it was.

she learned how to make it last year by studying recipes online

honestly everything she cooks is good.... she doesnt let me cook often because she likes it so much

i abdicated the kitchen to her. i am only allowed in to get drinks or popcorn or occasionally cook or when she isnt home....

I baked a lot of casserole style dishes, breads, cakes.  Also did a lot of bbqing and baking big roasts, like rib roast, tri tip, etc.  Now I'm 50 pounds fatter haha.

Got a bread machine for my birthday (I love homemade bread but am too lazy to do it the hard way) and have been making something every few days since then.

So far have done plain white, light rye, express white, dark rye, cinnamon raisin, and French (ish; French style bread, but doesn't actually look like a baguette).

Also, the baby seems to like most of what I've tried 🤣.

I'm going to be making a red velvet cheesecake for Valentine's Day.  Giving flowers is one thing, but baking for your loved one is on a whole different level, in my opinion.
