Hello all!

I’m a bit confused. So I just received my extension letter for my Green Card and in the receipt notice it says what I attached to this post.
I am a military spouse overseas, and have been overseas from a year ago. do I have to file Form I-131?

Thank you in advance

This is recommended for LPR's who know they're going to be out of the US for an extended period of time and don't want USCIS thinking they have abandoned LPR status. But you have to get it before you leave the US, not after. However I'm not sure if this applies to you since you're military?? Calling experts @geowrian @Boiler ...

I already got an answer from the military community, it does not apply to us, but thank you for taking the time to answer 😊
