Hi guys,

For those who applied for a marriage based AOS, how long did it take to receive a NOA/case number or any kind of receipt?

My husband and I sent the envelope on June the 9th, but after two months we haven't received any notification from USCIS.

(we haven't been charged for the fees either. And we did send the I-1145 form)

Any idea of how to get in touch with them?

Thank you

you should call the 800 number. it surely does not take 2 months.  if your card is not charged most likely its a denial that has gone for a thorough review. usually when they deny , first the contractors vet the application than a USCIS officer has to complete their review before they deny the application. it used to take 30 days for the file to move from contractor rejection to uscis officer rejection and than back to you.

now it might take longer due to COVID. call the 1-800 number. they will give you an update

You mean rejection not denial, right?

You definitely need to call them now. It can take up to 30 days in order for them to process things but it shouldn't take 6 weeks

Call toll-free 1-800-375-5283

2 2 2

1 for English

2   case information / questions on case

2.   Can't find receipt #

2.   Still can't find receipt #

And this will transfer to rep during normal calling hours.  If you aren't getting any answers, ask for a supervisor.
