Given the shocking behavior in my thread yesterday I feel this is no longer an appropriate or friendly place for me to be, especially since this site is all about family immigration and my cowardly ** of a soon to be ex husband lied his way through our marriage and we're now divorcing.

So I'm not really interested in hanging out with a bunch of happy families, especially when they're rubbing salt in my open wounds.

To the people who were supportive, thank you.

I may visit occasionally but this will be my last post for a while.

I'm not a UKer, but I wanted to say good luck to you, HA. I hope the physical distance from your crushing situation will help you. I'm sorry things went as they did here and I hope that you won't be afraid to visit VJ to pass idle hours or even for support in the future. (F)

I want to wish you the very best of luck and a safe journey home. I am new to this site, and there are some who are obviously nothing but helpful and supportive, however, it does not always feel the most welcoming of sites to newcomers and I am sure there are many who lurk without posting for this reason.

Your posts will be missed.

HA, I hope you do stop in once in a while and let us all know you got home safely. I for one will be thinking of you as you fly home on Sunday.

Take care of yourself, and the very best of luck for the future.

HA, This is nothing to do with England (I always feel I must say that as a buffer, becasue I mean no disrespect to the country...I love it!) but more to do with how you have been feeling while there...

Just wanted to say I am SO glad that if this had to happen, it at least happened at a time you were heading back to a place you feel comfortable and to people who do love you, unconditionally. I guess I'm assuming that last bit, but most of us have at least a few people like that in our lives...generally family and a few close friends. I remain so sorry for what you are going through right now, and after my petty bickering with you the other day, it just reminds me again how silly that sort of thing is...I'm not saying it won't ever happen again...human nature rears its ugly head sometimes!...but there are a lot of things to be more concerned about than he said/she said on a message board.

I wish you all the best and hope you can get past this and on with your life with someone who deserves you and will build a genuine life with you. Take care of yourself. (F) M.

PS ...I'm tired and didn't proofread, so hope the rambles make sense! (F)

H A,

Where's the LADY who is brave and courageous in the face of adversity? I will miss your posts, and I will miss the way you never would be beaten down once you take a stand on what you deem as right.

It is sad that a few had to be so insensitive in your time of pain. Forgive them as they don't know any better. It is the only way to overcome.

You are down, but by no means out.You will be a strong LADY again and come out shining like the star that you are.

I wish you peace. I wish you healing, dear LADY.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

H_A,

I wish you all the best in whatever you do. (F) Have a safe trip on Sunday and I wish you happiness in your new life in the States. And it WILL be a new life for you; a fresh start and hopefully the beginning of some wonderful things happening.

As I've always said "we have to smell sh!t to know when we are smelling roses". It's true.

Please do pop in here now and again and let us know how you're getting along. :)
