Even though I have just began the NVC phase, such a relief that the USCIS, [CLUSTER] step is done, I am wondering about the consulate stage.  Has anyone heard any news as to a possible opening of the Consulate in Moscow for interviews?  I have only been able to find a possible opening of travel, maybe in Mid September, for got where I saw that.   I also can't find any new on the Russian consulate taking visa applications as mine has expired.  I was beginning to get another tourist visa to Russia. Just before I was to send in my packet  i was told they were shutting done to the Covid.

No news. Only 1 expedite case was issued in June: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyIVIssuances/June 2020 - IV Issuances by Post and Visa Class.pdf Data not yet available for July.
